Phenomenal value for money. Location being next to Corniche Rd, close to malls etc… you’re walking distance from much that downtown Abu Dhabi has to offer. Special mentions: Chef Benjamin - food was always top notch. Would always come out and converse with the guests, asked for feedback but also created a very welcoming and warm atmosphere in the dining area. My only regret was that I didn’t have enough time in Abu Dhabi to experience his cooking at the Rock Pool Club on the top floor in the evening. Shoaib - checked us in and was incredibly helpful on suggesting places to visit nearby and around Abu Dhabi. Also made great suggestions for places and times to eat; as we arrived during Ramadan. He was friendly, considerate and really went the extra mile. Dushani - checked us out of our stay, but would generally be at the front desk most times we were going and leaving. Always went out of her way, would stop what she was doing and greeted us with a smile and ‘Hello Sir/Madam’. Good old fashioned customer service which is rare nowadays.

Disgusting carpets. Horrible smells. Slow internet. Smoky bar leading to pool. Dirty, blown glass in windows. Poor ventilation. Two good points-breakfast chef and pool was relatively clean and quiet first thing. Book a cleaner budget hotel for layovers such as premier inn instead

My stay in tryp hotel is awesome I enjoyed staying there, staff's are very accommodating and also friendly and helpful, we also enjoyed the amenities of the hotel. I recommend this hotel specially if you want to explore Abu Dhabi

A nightclub with rooms

There is a nightclub on the 17th floor. The bass vibrates the whole hotel to 3.30am. I was staying on the 10th floor and called reception on 2 occasions. My colleague was on the 6th and they could still hear it. We did get moved on the 2nd night to lovely rooms but avoid standard rooms on a weekend as you will not sleep.

Overall the hotel is good. The location is excellent, room is comfortable and clean. The views from the window is also beautiful. The main problem of the hotel is the rooftop disco sound at night which does not allow sleeping. Considering the fact that the main function of hotels is providing good sleep, this is really bad. The sound is heard badly at 15th floor, also heard from 8th floor. Also the toilet doors are very uncomfortable, I hurt my hand, as there is a need to strongly pull the door every time you need to open/ close the door.
